Grinding out a stump is the most efficient way to remove it completely. We can clear any size of tree stump with our wide range of specialist machines leaving the stump removed to well below ground level.
Once our machines have ground away the stump, you will be left with a mixture of soil and chip which can then be used as mulch.
The process can take anywhere between a matter of minutes to multiple days depending on the size, location and number of stumps.

The Alpine
The smallest of our machines, the handheld Alpine.
The Alpine Magnum is a portable machine allowing access through terraced houses, on steep banks or on top of walls, as seen in this picture.
This machine allows greater precision proving useful for delicate work, such as removal within flowerbeds or stumps against walls or other structures.
The Bandit
The most versatile of machines, the perfect size for most jobs.
With a 76cm width these machines can get into many tight spots, as demonstrated in the picture here.
They also pack a punch with a 38 horsepower engine that can tackle large and multiple stumps efficiently.
The Carlton
This machine is ideally suited for larger jobs where multiple stumps need to be removed or stumps are of a metre or upwards in diameter.
As can be seen above, it is an effective and powerful machine given its size.
